Bid Procedures

Compile the bid:

• Establish Header and General tab information.
  

• Click Save.
  
• Establish items or drag items from the requisition.
  
• Establish accounting information.
  
• Establish selected vendors.
  
• Save the bid.
  
• Print the bid.

Compile the quote(s) for the bid (each vendor is going to have an individual quote per bid):

• Complete the Header and General tab information.
  

• Complete the item information, submitted by the vendor.
  
• Save the quote.
  
• Repeat for each vendor.

Compile the bid tabulation for the bid and award purchase orders:

• Display the bid to be awarded.
  

• Award the item(s) to the appropriate vendor(s) by double clicking on the item box, and highlighting them in blue. No Bid items are highlighted in pink, and the lowest price items are highlighted in green.
  
• When all the items have been selected, click Save.
  
• Make sure that the bid is at the 2BA (Bid Approved. Ready for Vendor Awarding).
  
• If you select Yes to award purchase orders, they will be generated and can be printed from the dialog window.
